Well, it started off crumby. Mateo needed a filling and his laughing gas wore off while they were working and when he came to his senses, it was bad. Poor guy. So we headed out for a milkshake from DQ (haven't had one in YEARS!), and then we picked up Danny for a trip to Build-A-Bear.
I'd never done it, but it was so much fun. Danny made a Turkey named "Mommy." Mateo made a Monkey named . . . "Monkey." :)
This is where we put the stuffing in, and their little hearts and sound boxes. . .
Here's Mateo giving his monkey his first "bath" of hot air and a good brushing.
Then we made their birth certificates on the computer!
And put the "babies" in their little homes.
The boys spent the car ride talking to their "babies," and checking on them through the windows and doors of the boxed house. They were so excited to let the babies take their first "siesta" and watch their first movie. They were talking to them and asking them which movie they wanted to see. ADORABLE!
How much fun is that?
We're not going to let a tooth filling ruin OUR day!!
