Folks.  I understand the seemingly absurdity of bringing a puppy into our family as we are attempting (rather unsuccessfully) to sell our home, and as we have two wild boys at the same talkative preschool age, BUT --

I have been a bit ashamed to say that I think I am too scared to go through the adoption process again.  While I love our little guys, it's been a long. hard process getting them here, and then an even harder process adjusting now that they're part of our family.  And in my emotional realization that I do not think I can adopt again, I found this puppy online.

I dare say I've yet to share the experience of our puppy with anyone and been spared an eye-roll to bringing her home, but I want to tell you that she is an utter joy.  Mocha is quick to put her in her place, but will play with Shelley outside for a long time with the happiest of hearts.  Shelley is healing in every way, recovering from a slew of unfortunate dog illnesses, from which most pets are spared with simple vaccinations.  

She is 20 pounds, and three months old.  She's teething and we're all looking forward to the baby teeth falling out!  She doesn't give many kisses, but she loves to stand on her hindlegs and try to be as big as everyone around her. 

The boys love helping in anyway they can.  Here's a picture of Danny getting Shelley her water.
