We received an email from our adoption agency about Edna. Here's her picture and the information we were given. If anyone would like to adopt her, please let us know.
Edna born on 5/17/1997. She is very intelligent and does well in school. She wants to be adopted and live with a new family in the United States. Her parents are very poor and they knew she would have a better life in America. If she stays in Guatemala she will be working full time very soon and may end up on the streets. We would really like to find a home for Edna so if you or anyone you know might be interested in adopting her, please let me know and I'll contact our agency.

Oh my goodness she is so beautiful! We want to adopt a girl eventually but need to wait until we can afford another. Ugh--it is just so heartbreaking to know how much she wants a family. Wish money could fall from the sky! :)
