This morning when the boys peeked open their eyes, one of the first things they noticed was SNOW on the ground. I was hauled out of bed by the screams of delight of these little boys who had never experienced snow before! So I had to do a lot of explaining when I put them in multiple layers of clothes, which they didn't like. And I had to do more explaining when I wrapped their feet in plastic baggies and rubber bands.
The REALITY of snow was pretty funny as they LOVED the snow, but didn't quite like the blustering winds, or the cold cold fingers, or the falling down part. They'd slip and slide, and their hands hurt and I would ask them, "Sweetheart, do you want to go back in?"
"Yes!" they'd say, then go play a little longer. :)
It was cute.
We were out there from 6:45 - 8:15.
And then after warming up, the boys looked out the window and said, "Mommy! All gone!!"

Super sweet! I love how you got to experience a real "first" with the boys. :)
