It's kind of wild to think that the boys have been home nearly 8 months. Bringing them home still seems like just a few weeks ago, but we also feel like we've been a family forever now -- like we've always been together. Adoption is really only a God thing; there's no other way to describe it. The way He knits us together as a family is indescribable, and I'm honored he chose us and allowed us to be part of it all.
It's pretty incredible to see how He is working in their hearts as well. The boys love to ask "why" about everything and sometimes Ray will try to get even and ask them "why" back. They'll always answers, "I know why. I know why, Poppy. Because Jesus made it that way." :) I LOVE listening to their prayers at night and it's great to hear them pray about things they're getting from church that we haven't even talked about yet, like when Danny prays, "Thank you Jesus for love. Thank you for bleeding."
Parenthood is a gift.
