No super big news, except Ray and I found out today all we have to do is be through PGN for our boys to be COMPLETELY ours, and for the Jan. 1 deadline to disappear. Who-hoooo!! I know some of the fellow adopting folks out there already had a handle on this knowledge; it's amazing what all Ray and I still do not know -- even after being in this process for so long. Meanwhile, I'm just utterly thankful for this information.
We're still hoping for some news about us being out of PGN, but now the pressure of getting through quickly isn't as necessary -- AND -- we're still just coming up on week 8, which is when most people start getting through!

That is Awesome! Does this mean that once you are through they get to come home? Could they be home by the first of December if God's great plan for your family just fall into place?
Hey Lori,
No. . .because after we're through with PGN, the boys still need to have their birth certificates remade, the passports and VISAs created, and that sort of thing. We can't bring them home until all those travelling documents are created -- but they're OURS! And that small detail means the world.
And it is just really encouraging that once we get to that point, everything else is petty stuff. Actually, our agency said that paperwork still takes 4 - 6 weeks, so we're still in the same boat as far as, we need some news soon if they boys are going to be home by Christmas.
Starting next week, there are 5 weeks until the week of Christmas. Maybe we'll hear from PGN soon.
Love,
Kelli
Kelli and Ray,
We're still praying that you get out of PGN soon and that God will give you the strength you need as you wait.
Love, Marcie and Brent
