In the midst of our first flurries, Mocha, our home defender, went nuts outside. I listened closely and heard a few squeaks and purring. I grabbed the flashlight and spied two raccoons braving the cold winds in our oak tree. Here's my snapshot. Not too bad with a flashlight in one hand and camera in the other, eh?

Also -- in adoption-related news, we found out that our notice for when to get the boys (which is still a ways off) is going to be emailed directly to us, instead of being sent by snailmail as an effort to expedite the process. Yay!

That is the coolest picture, Kelli! I couldn't see it well from my computer at school, but on my home computer, I can even see the leaves in color. Wow.
I just am so, so excited about all you are going to get to share with those two little guys when they get here. Do they have raccoons in Guatamala?
