The past week has been . . . well, a nightmare for Ray and me regarding our adoption. And those of you in whom we've confided have been really amazing. If you would like to know, Ray and I do not mind sharing (only publishing on the web). :)
Anyway, I just wanted to thank:
Mom, who is vigilant in wanting justice.
Kim, who has emailed consistently to check in.
Emily B, who gave me advice on herbal teas to help me calm down
Emily N, who shared me with some incredible insight into the meaning of faith and helped me slow down enough to get a grip
Barbara M, who not only has emailed, but called in order to surround us with love
Jenn B, who has emailed me almost hourly to help me through the ordeal
and of course,
My sweet sweet sweet husband who didn't want me to move to Guatemala because he didn't want to risk me. I love you sweetheart.
There are so many of you who have helped in really significant ways -- even some that don't get recognition -- like talking to Ray instead of me, so that I don't have to cry in public. We are so thankful for the people that God has so perfectly chosen to be in our lives. You're the best.
[Oh, and we just got our New Year's Cards in the mail so look for them to arrive in the mail this weekend or Monday! Ha!]

May you remain previo free and continue in PGN. I know the future of Guate adoptions is scary right now, but I will continue to pray for you guys.
