PGN moving quickly???

Some good news, I think. It appears that PGN is moving quickly these days. Towards the end of this last year, PGN was taking at least 8 weeks, and for many people it was taking 3 - 6 months! Everything slowly came to a halt with Guatemalan law changes and PGN had some time to sort of clear out their cases -- either by kicking them out and refusing resubmits until a registration was complete, or by approving cases. The result was a complete shut down of the system for December and January. EVERYONE has been waiting and waiting. PGN is now allowing cases to be resubmitted and the good news is that things are moving quickly. Last week, 6 people on our Guatemalan Adoption Forum were approved after only TWO WEEKS in PGN. This week, there are already FOUR people who have been approved after two weeks!! We've been in for a week and a half so maybe we'll have some good news soon! Something to hope for.
