A Quiet Evening

Kelli had to take Daniel from the restaurant at lunch, and Mateo and I had a quiet but quick lunch.  We wanted to hurry, so we could take food to Kelli and Daniel.  However, by the time we got to the room, the drama was over, and Daniel was asleep.  I took Mateo to the other room and tried to get him to sleep.  However, he was not interested, so I took him to the pool area, so he could play with his favorite toy, the Delta jet.  Not only does it sound like a jet, but it is one of those toys that goes 10 times further forward than the back-up done to wind it.  It does not work well on carpet but does quite well on hard surfaces.

We got back the room, and Daniel had just awakened.  Pretty soon it was time for me to go to the embassy, so I was off.  It was quite quick, and I was back to the room in an hour with the visas.  Mateo fell asleep in my lap, and Kelli and Danny had a great time learning how to play one of the Leap-Frog learning games.

Mateo was still asleep at 6 p.m., so we just picked him up and carried him to the restaurant.  We did not want him to have a night of no sleep.  However, he barely awoke and slept in my lap through dinner.  Daniel was great through the meal and is now helping Kelli clean the room and begin packing for our trip home tomorrow.  Mateo is still zonked, and I don't expect him to wake up again until about midnight when he will be finished sleeping for the night.

Here is Daniel and me in the restaurant for dinner.  We had such a good evening together.

Poor Mateo.  He has slept and slept.  I mean we try to get him up and he keeps sleeping!  We take him to dinner, and he sleeps!  Whoa doggies is this crazy or what?!

All in all a fun day and I'm missing good stuff typing all of this, and by the way, Mateo is STILL sleeping!!!!
