Wednesday -- VISA Day!!! -- AKA: Less than 24 hours to go

Ray leaves in an hour to get the VISAs for our boys.  And then we are done with this wild, crazy, wonderful and horrendous adoption process!!! Whoooooo hooooooo.  Tomorrow we tackle three airports, two flights, and many many hours of being STILL.  If you want to send God a few prayers on our behalf, they'd be more than needed.

Meanwhile, today has been a wild roller-coaster.  The boys are super-passionate in their love and hate.  Well, hate is a strong word, but they have survival of the fittest down to a T.  Rules are very upsetting and it's easier to bite (yes, you heard that right & it's painful too!) than to explain in words while one is unhappy.  We're making progress, and I have no doubt in my mind that our guys are going to grow up to be amazing human beings.  Still, as we all know, tackling change is not for the faint of heart, and hard for people of all ages.  :)  Here are some super fun pictures of our day so far.  Love from Guatemala!

My three guys.
Father-son love is a joy to watch.
Did I tell you that the boys can pull some serious CHEESE?
Oh yes, this is an example.
Barbara M, look closely and you can see this is one of the books
you got for them! (The one with the pull flaps on the big trucks!)
Mateo has a crazy-fierce attitude towards all things athletic.  He puts 110% in and expects to win.  Check out this splashing from his serious arm moves in the water!
Mateo is super, super athletic, but when it comes to kicking his feet in the water, Daniel can GO.  I think you can tell by this photo what I mean!
Daniel loves to look into the water, but you can probably tell from this picture why it is a bit dangerous when he does it.  A shift of balance and he is head-first into the water!
Daniel is the boy with the faces.  He can make outrageous ones, or angry ones, or hilarious ones, endearing ones, or ones like this that simply get all the little girls in a tizzy.
At first glance, at the picture below, you may think: Kelli caught him with his eyes closed by mistake.  Not so!  This funny boy was taking a catnap, lounging in the sun, while his father swung him around in circles by his feet.
Mateo, ever the climber, loves being on his Papa's shoulders.  EVEN in the POOL!
