Somehow this trip is more nerve-wracking than the others. The idea of taking the boys to the Embassy (how do we get there; who's driving us) and to get our VISAs, then the extra procedures at Immigration when we enter the US -- there's just a lot of question marks about our trip this time. I feel pretty strongly that the boys are going to be super-excited about finally coming home with us, but there are some issues -- such as them being scared on the plane, or being scared about going through the airports and doing things differently than we've done in the past. Even though we've shown them pictures of their room and our home, I wonder if they don't imagine that they will come live with us in the hotel. It's hard to imagine what their pre-conceived notions of all this are.
We have a couple of hours before we see the boys. We've been unpacking and Ray is ironing the clothes for our Embassy appointment tomorrow. There's this exceeding happiness that just wants to burst through all the anxiety. I cannot wait to have these boys at home.
I cannot wait.
Pictures soon!
